About Us

Neighborhood Cleaners is a new dry cleaner to Belvidere, and is locally and family owned by David & Alicia Perez and Mike & Noel Baldwin.  Knowing that Belvidere and the Stateline area are going green, we are excited to bring an Eco-Friendly drycleaner to our community.  We use a product called DF2000™ - The Cleaner, Safer Solvent.

DF-2000™, as an alternative dry cleaning solvent, provides an environmentally friendly solution that is healthier for dry cleaning machine operators and our customers. With that piece of mind, you can feel comfortable knowing DF-2000ä has a track record of proven performance.

According to The Environmental Protection Agency, DF-2000™ is safer on the water table and a better choice for cleaning your personal garments than its predecessor, Perc, which is now known to cause dizziness, headaches and nausea, as well as skin, lung and eye irritation.

Perc, the long-standing and widely used (over 90 percent of current dry cleaners nationwide) solvent irritates mucous membranes, damages liver and kidneys, and can affect the nervous system and reproductive organs, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

We also offer laundered shirts service using eco-friendly soaps to keep your whites whiter and your colored shirts brighter and more vibrant.

We are proud to be offering some unique services, such as same day service in by 9 am, you can pick up after 5 pm, 24-hour drop off service, custom preferences stored in our system for how YOU like your clothes pressed and now free business pick-up and delivery. 

We are open Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 7 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am - 1:00pm.
